Andie McDowell's Former Tudar Style Home

[ Edited ]

I have seen the outside of this house; it seems quite small even though it's on a double lot.  I'd love to have it!

@ECBG ,  stunning architecture and house!   I love the sunroom, with the Gothic arch openings and the arch top windows.  It's romantic-- definitely looks like a house she would have had.

@ECBG

This is an interesting house.  I do love the cozy look.  This is my feeling of home. I found the gothic archways different in a Tudor home.  The Tudor archway is different from the gothic archway but I find the mix interesting and I don't mind it.  I see there is a mix of woods and cabinet styles in the kitchen as well.  There is a cabinet that appears to be neo Gothic revival, maybe a wine cabinet.  I found the other cabinets to look like a mix of maybe Amish and Early Americana.  But I still love it.  It looks like a curated home.  It is so cozy.

Dark and depressing. It's a no for me.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@ECBG Gorgeous! I love a cozy, gothic looking Tudor!

I really love that green tile fireplace in the kitchen, such a pretty color....

I absolutely love this home. But I've always been fond of darker woods and colors, homes with an organic, cozy feeling. Having many beautiful windows helps buffer the dark interior impact. I could move into this home and rarely leave it --- like forever.

It's lovely but just too dark for me.

Beautiful home on the outside.  I personally would make a few changes on the inside to lighten it up just a bit. I admit to disliking (hate) green, unless it's a plant, grass or tree so the first to go is the green tile fireplace and paint.

Love all the beautiful wood and some lighter paint would work.
