The exterior is beautiful. The interior is so far removed from my personal style and, except for the kitchen, is just a bad combo of mixed patterns that it would cause me anxiety to be in those rooms for very long.

I would have to redecorate the entire inside....the decor is not for me.

A home similar from the outside was on the market this past fall in the LI neighborhood where I walked often. No idea how or even if it was furnished- certainly not done as this one has been. Some decors need to stay where they belong!!

I'm also on LI and yes, we have some beautiful neighborhoods with these lovely homes. A few years ago, one LI neighborhood had a Holiday House tour on the one of the loveliest streets in that area. I saw about six or seven homes that resembled the one the OP posted here. Just magnificent. LI can surprise you with some spectacular areas.

The different patterns in the Sun Room is a little bit too busy for me....

The living room is fine.....It reflects Southern Charm....

Love the Kitchen and Wet Bar/Butler's Pantry.......

During our city's annual Fiesta Event in the Spring they used to have an event called "King William's Fair" which included a tour of these grand Southern Homes....the homes were beautiful inside and out..... for some reason that event was discontinued except for one home deemed an historical landmark....I miss it...

I love, love the kitchen with the possible exception of the chairs at the island. This kitchen could easily be representative of many old stately New England homes that have been updated. So fun to look at.
