I know I'm going to get bashed, but I have to write this.

I'm not stuffy, but I do have some values and class.

Yesterday, at the end of the Scott Brothers live audience show, Amy got in bed between Jonathan and Drew.  Amy "snuggled" up to Johnthan while Drew pretended to read a bedtime story. It was in fun for them.  Jonathan and Drew are always cutting up.   I don't think it looked good for a Amy to have done that.  It was in bad tase for all of them.

One would think it as a soap opera or some kind of sitcom.

QVC sure isn't like it use to be!!!!!

Considering how religious they are, I wonder how they even agreed to go along with AmySmiley Happy  Otherwise, to me personaly, it is all in good fun .

I saw the tail end of it.  I think they were playing up to the live audience.

Different people find different things funny.  To me this is definitely not

a "funny" little clip.  Not in good taste IMHO, and I'm glad I didn't see it. Maybe this is one of the reasons I'm watching less and less QVC. If it's a bit off, seems to me it is better left off - there must have been another way to close a show. Disappointed in the brothers and extremely disappointed in Amy. She has a young daughter . . . .

BTW. no reason to bash the OP.  It's a matter of class.

Sounds harmless and funny to me, as long as they weren't naked!

I think they just thought it would be funny and since they were selling bedding that it might make people think oh this bedding really is cozy and you can really snuggle down in it. Sometimes things don't play out as well in reality as they do in our heads. I just thought it was rather weird. LOL

I really mean this with kindness and respect: if that bothered you, I can only imagine how upset you must get on a regular basis with TV shows every night of the week. It just sounds very innocent and tame to me relative to routine nightly TV.

Selling sheets and pretending to be children listening to Drew reading a bedtime story sounds pretty harmless to me.  I don't think it was in "bad taste" for any of them, or had anything to do with religious beliefs. This is a loooong way from the soaps where they do not read bed time stories and sitcoms where every joke has a reference to who they slept with.

@JCF  It may help to consider the motives behind the actions of others before you judge the result of them.  If you see somthing offensive, take a moment to consider how what you're seeing came to be, and why you're offended.  Using this thought process, one can become a healthier, less judgmental person.

You're entitled to your opinion - and having an opinion doesn't necessarily make you judgmental.  Stick to your own values regardless of others.
