Aldi has a set of 3 for $9.99. What a difference compared to the bloated, pricey Luminara candles that are running for $75-85 on QVC. I can't justify what QVC is charging for their frameless candles.

I just purchased five unscented flameless candles at Costco that are dead ringers for Luminara candles. They came with batteries and a remote for only $39.95 and they can be set to auto turn on for either four or eight hours.
I really like them and I am going back tomorrow for another box. I hope they are not sold out.

Do the Aldi candles have the realistic simulated flame? That's what makes Luminaria so expensive. I've gotten sets like that at HSN for a great price but they don't have the flame.
Surely you mean flameless, not frameless?

The mirage candle impressions lantern I got has the flickering flame thing and I like it a lot more than the plastic luminara flame.
Only the not so good on this is the battery life.
I just looked and I don't see it anymore online. Maybe that's why(cause of the battery life
But I really do like the mirage flame.
It was h211631-it has really good reviews. Maybe its my batteries,no one else mentioned a poor battery life.

My Costco candles say Mirage on the box and remote. I just got them so I haven’t tested the battery life on them, but they are super duper nice.

Flamless candles can even be found at dollar stores. The Luminara look good when you have them on, but that fake flame looks awful when they are not on with that fake flat plastic flame sticking up. I prefer other brands to the Luminara candles for that reason.

Totally agree -- Luminara is WAY too expensive. I almost bought a couple from QVC this season, but, you see so many of them out at retail for a fraction of the price. I'm just not willing to pay the extra $$ just because of the "Disney technology flame." I mean, come on -- its a candle!

I need to look in Aldis the next time we’re in there for flameless candles. I didn’t know they carried them. Thanks.

The flyer I picked up for next week has a 4 piece flameless LED set wi/remote for $9.99. I will try to check out next week but my store never seems to stock the items I am interested in.

@Debbie Furlo things come and go at Aldi. If you are interested in the candles you should go ASAP.
