This one is hard to look at.  It's not the colors, it's the spacing of the colors.  The eye keeps jumping from one to the next.

 

If they want to keep the white bedspread, then paint a color on the walls.  White walls and white bedspread is "off" (unless you are doing all white in the room).

 

With a soft color on the wall, soft white curtains as was already mentioned instead of the print, and then the white bedspread could ease one's vision.

The stools at the foot of the bed could be softer, too, not so stark, so that they, along with the colored lamps, would be more in unison with the whole bed/nightstand/stool arrangement and you'd still have a soft, breathy, airy bedroom great for any seaside home.

 

 

 

I won't even talk about that light fixture.
