I keep mine at 70-71 whether it's heating or cooling. I live in South Carolina, where summers are usually hot and humid, and I need to be cool. Plus my LR and MBR get the afternoon sun, so are on the warm side...but that's the same reason I can keep it at 70 in the wintertime. The sun helps warm the main living areas.

 

It does help that we are on a rural electric co-op, so our bills are somewhat lower than our in-town friends.
