African Inspired Bedroom

This room was described as “African” inspired. What do you think?

I think the room definitely has an “African safari” vibe.

The bed, furniture, & accessories all work together.

The use of wood on the walls & ceiling is creative.

The partially open area that leads to the bathroom is interesting. I would be ok staying in this room on a vacation, but I wouldn’t want it as my daily bedroom. I don’t like the spiky thing on the headboard near the pillows. Looks like an accident waiting to happen.

I really like the trunk at the foot of the bed. I could find a place for that in my home. 👍

Personally I think Tarzan and Jane would prefer to live in the jungle rather than set up housekeeping in here. Cheetah might enjoy the furnishings though........

I wouldn't step foot in that room, fun house and scary describe it perfectly. There are many examples of African style decor online and none look like this mess.
