Absolutely love those images, @jubilant !  Great ideas for display.   Beautiful evocations of nature in the house--  they just lift the spirit.

Re: Adding Greenery

I don't care for the rustic boxes in the first photo, but I would definitely do this with different plant stands. I like the second photo a lot.

I definitely love greenery inside a home. I prefer real plants over faux. Two of my indoor plants are huge so they sit on the living room floor next to the windows. I have one plant on top of the TV armoire in the family room and one on a table in our sunroom.

I do like the creativity in the displays...sometimes live plants arent appropriate and faux greenry adds a nice touch I know I do incorporate some in my home....

I love having indoor plants.

The pots/planters they go in are just as important to me.  I am always thinking ahead to the next pot they will need--even if years down the road.

It's almost an obsession.

I am always mindful of ease of watering as I have hardwoods throughout.

I don't have plants in every room because of lighting (or space issues).

Not wild about the faux plants pictured.  If you're trying to give the impression, follow through.  Pot bases for plants, please for when you pretend to water.  And you're shrub must be root bound in that decorative little pot that looks top heavy.

My house is westfacing so plants do not do well.  I have windows but they are not conducive to plants in that area.  I can grow them in my kitchen window which is eastfacing.  I do have a corral of succulents, a pothos (which is turning that area into a mini jungle) and an African violet.  I have a corner sink so I have room for those, which I would not were it agains the backsplash.  First time I have had a corner sink and it is a great feature (IMHO).
