Harland 5 Piece Pedestal Plant Stand Set

I think this is an interesting way to add some greenery to your home.  You could have any kind of stand from modern to rustic.  I have some outlets I would like to cover in my living area.  I think these would be a great way to hide cords.

The photo is pretty, and creative and I do use some faux greenery when I accessorize the house.  You just have to be careful not to over do it.

@Mom2Dogs   Yes, you make a good point.  I like this one, too.  It is close to the floor and more subtle.

I love greenery in a home. I don't care for faux floral.

Greenery brightens up a home.

I like the second picture much more.  All I see are boxes in the first one.  I'd remove the tall one in the back and replace it with an indoor tree in a pot.  I'd probably get rid of the box beside the bench and add a wrought iron or metal table there instead.  I also prefer live plants (or flowers) but there are various reasons where that might not be doable.

Yep, I really like this look. Make sure your greenery is real though and no faux. Green plants add oxygen to the air, all is good and you can find a lot of great platns for the interior that bloom as well.

My house is dark -there is no way a living plant would survive for long.  There is some very pretty faux greenery out there, you just have to look...just don't over due it.

Re: Adding Greenery

[ Edited ]

I don't care for either of these looks. Then again, I'm not all that interested in adding greenery. I do appreciate a single large plant I have in a corner of my great room. Otherwise, I corral a few flowering plants on, of all things, a plant stand. It's a pretty wrought iron piece that is decorative with or without the plants. I don't want them spread all over the house.

I love both looks and also decorate with greenery in my home. The use of the stands in the first picture is very appealing and something I would do. I have faux flowers in areas of my dining room and front hallway and your eyes go directly to them when you walk in the rooms.  I bought many of my faux flowers room Pier One and they stand out.
