I think the ultra modern furniture clashes with the surroundings

It's a beautiful structure but the furnishings look out of place. I don't mind modern but this is way too modern for this house. Didn't care for the kitchen and those stairs need handrails!

Very unique in its own way, but it seems like it could be drafty or damp, and I just personally wouldn;t want to live in an old church.

I so enjoy watching the process of turning a very old building into something modern and still keeping the history--would I do it???? Not on your life--would take so much $$$$ money and time. I do like a little rustic but not the huge amount that usually has to  remain--there is a show called -Escape to the Chateau---about a couple that bought and is renovating a huge French Chataue that is a few hundred years old that is so fascinating and  is one of the best programs on TV---but --WOW----the work involved is amazing
