Hey, great minds and all that, @GingerHead .  The things I liked the most were also those striking teal candles, and the romantic, patterned and sort of smoky mirrors in the sitting room...

I have some blown glass candlesticks - a set in dark green and the other in a golden amberish color. I use them mostly in the fall because they just say autumn to me. I never use real taper candles any more since I have cats. All the candles are battery operated these days.

 

I like both rooms as a nice change.

The richness of these colors says "the best of fall" to me!

 

Beautiful!  Love the teal!

 

I would love to see her china.

 

(This palette would probably be hard to decorate for a traditional Christmas.)
