I love everything you posted @Oznell

I'm trying to soak up every last drop of summer. Fall means winter is not far behind so I want to savor warmth while we have it.

I think if this were my home I would 'summerize' it. I probably drape airy throws over the velvet chair and the brown furniture. I do that in our house as well, seasonally. I do like bare branches but not quite that large and that would be another that I would do for winter but with foliage for spring. . .softening it. Love the drama created by the height of the drapery rods and lushness of the drapes.

@Oznell  I agree that all these rooms are very inviting.

AND....What a beautiful cat in that first room which is probably my  favorite room. It's hard to choose when you like them all!

As usual, a very lovely and unusual home.  I love all the personality in a home such as this.  All our walls are off-white, except for bathrooms.  I love the accent behind the stove top!

Do you know if it is tile?  I am not a fan of white sofas for our home, but perfect in this setting.  As some say, "Too much of a good thing is wonderful."

Thank you, @Oznell, for all you do!

In the first photo the room is a bit too cluttered for my taste. The only thing that looks light and airy is the light wall color and the window that is bringing in a lot of sunlight.

@Buffalogal47 ,  hey, thanks.  To answer your question, I guess I love interior design so much, I tend to browse as a hobby, and so get to see quite a bit.  There's so much of  decorating out there that I DON'T care f, that I get kind of over-excited when I find something good, and immediately want to share.

@mildoo ,  when I look, I get so tempted to decorate too. I can't do anything major, esp. with these economic hard times, but I can dream!  ( And do a lot of rearranging of what I have-- that helps.)

Love the kitchen Delft Blue tile backsplash with the pastoral landscape and the moody sky.  It's like transferware and toile done on tile.  Really like decorative tiles; have a tile similar to this one:

VINTAGE CERAMIC TILE, HORSE, WINDMILL, 1984 | Holland windmills ...

Love the kitty in the photos.

I also love that classic backsplash, @QVCisFun .  Your tile is just beautiful, in the same timeless mode.  Must make you happy every time you look at it.
