Not ready to let go of summer yet, ( even though fall beckons) and this living room by Carley Summers ( last name is appropriate) has that feeling for me.
Love the lattice window left of fireplace, which gives that "outdoor pavilion" mood. The green velvet chair is sumptuous, very quirky English with the bullion fringe, and accompanying kitty, ha. Kooky lamp is fun.
Personally, I would not have an off-white sofa, unless it was slipcovered-- even if it is in a super-duper performance, no-stain fabric-- a non-slipcovered white couch makes me shy away...
But the mood is one of eclectic charm, and invites conversation. Love the chandelier, the paintings, the recessed window.
Some people love branches, tall ones, and some don't. Would be interested in opinions of other posters -- do you like plain branches, in addition to other greenery? I do-- to me they give a natural, sculptural drama...
A few of Carley Summers' other rooms, not in the same house--
Deep brown, khaki and off-white, like that combo--
The roooms are from several different houses she did, but to me they have the common thread of a 'clean' but inviting tone.

The first room is too cramped and cluttered and windowless for me, but I love the rest of the rooms--especially the kitchen and coffee bar and bathroom!
I would get rid of the brown chairs and the lady painting. But our houses have always been white, off white and oatmeal sofa central. With modern fabrics and reasonably clean people, no problem at all.

I like all the rooms. Very pretty.

I love all the rooms! Oznell, where do you find all of these pictures of such beautiful homes? You never disappoint!

Branches aren't a favorite and the ones in the first picture look too big and too much. The only other room I like is the blue bathroom and what I like is the shade of blue not the wallpaper though. Everything else looks way to bland and lifeless.

I love that stunning green velvet fringed chair, The chandelier is beautiful and the art work always an eye catcher in a room. I like branches along with faux flowers or alone. There is appeal in all the rooms shown. The latticed window is lovely as is the design of the fireplace. The rug with the very pretty design adds to the room. All in all I like the designs and decor of the rooms.

Very nice rooms. I like the overall look of the spaces.
I like the living area in the first photo, but I'm not a fan of the branches or chandelier.
I like the furnishings in the second set of photos. I would add a bit of color to those neutral rooms.
Not a fan of the first bathroom. That shower looks too dark, and I'm not a stand alone tub person. The light blue bathroom looks pretty.
I like the last 2 photos of the bedroom and kitchen. Again, a bit more color would suit me, but I like those rooms.

Why is it that every house I see now has too much stuff in it? Oh I know I am old. Open shelves are high on my list.

Love it, all of it. With the exception of the branches. Maybe not so tall, but the rest, gorgeous. Really enjoy the pics you always submit. If I were redecorating I would surely use some of your submissions for inspiration. Oh, if only I were redecorating!
