The vignette is featured in a couple of different articles and it appears the focus might well be evolving trends, in this case, the use of the pretty green marble for counters. I do like the green marble. It's so much more appealing to me than the dark granite so often used, and other black stone counter tops.

Based on the placement of the duck artwork, it looks like the stove niche picture I provided is around the corner to the right, which makes this layout a little awkward to me.
Agree about the green! Supposedly green is an incoming trend.

It is an lovely kitchen for its size. I like that the island has comfortable chairs but I am not a fan of ikitchen islands. All in all the kitchen has appeal.

Not a fan. I guess I would have to see the whole kitchen in one pic. Don't care for that small island or the sink in it. Those shelves in the first pic.......very hard to reach. Don't like the stove or the placement of it.

I like the picture of the dog.
I don't even want to imagine the dirt and grease forming around the stove.
In addition, it appears to be lacking adequate task lighting.

I can't IMAGINE having to wash a window that's OVER the stove, let alone the grease, etc., that would collect on it.

"U" shapes are my favorite kitchen style. You can work in them so efficiently. Everything is in near-arm's reach. I'd never have that green stone countertop, however. It's a yuck.

It is so tiny, but oh so charming!!
