I do not see this as a comfortable area.  I would change the furnishings and decor and make it warm and cozy.

It is cozy, but for me......it’s too busy.  There are too many designs to get tired of, one or others.

Do not like this room.

It may be featured in a catalogue but it is not something I would remotely want.

 

If this is a room that is attractive to you then go for it. It is who you are and what you want that matters most.
