Well now, isn’t that interesting. It would take a specific kind of person to want to live there.

Did they list a price?

Like living in a little fairy home!

$775,000 @Witchy Woman

Seems like a real bargain.  2800 square feet, 4 bedrooms

I suppose I could post the address but not the link:

3395 SE Hidden Valley Way, Ollala, WA

Every bit hand-crafted.  Amazing.

Even more amazing is if you search "storybook cottages" they pop up in many states.

That seems quite large!  I'm going to check it out.

DH and I built our own storybook home -- a brick Victorian, but this is one of a kind.

I love unique homes and could be very happy living in something like this.

Thanks for posting!

@Witchy Woman

I was also thinking that this is one house that needed no staging.

I love looking at unique homes.  Have always wanted a "cottage in the woods" feeling to a home, but not that far from neighbors.

I love hearing you were able to build your own dream home!

@Teddie  Just my cup of tea, love it.  Champagne taste and beer pocketbook.  Old southern saying.  LOL

Notify Hollywood at once!  That property looks like a perfect setting for some type of movie.

@GingerPeach

When we built (the late 80s, pre Internet), it was a stretch to do some of the things we did -- We have a turret and two large chimneys and 3 fireplaces.  The plan called for the turret area to be a bathroom on the second floor!

I said it would be wasted space, so it is just a nice room off our bedroom.  On the first floor, it is where we have our breakfast off the kitchen.

But, my husband is a meticulous, traditional person and I had to push him to get those things Cat Happy  Since it was to be all brick, he nearly lost his mind towards the end.  So much work!

I agree with you, I love those "cottagey" homes and did a search like you suggested.  It is amazing what imagination people have.

I did a Google Earth search of that address and it really is out in the woods, although there was no street view.  You could make the house out by the surrounding stonework.

In my old age, I don't want to be THAT far away from civilization Cat LOL
