[Sooner]

My dad brought a pony much like that one through the den and into the kitchen up behind my mother one time.  He said "You've got company!"  

She looked around and said "You get that horse out of this house right now!"  Dad and I thought it was wonderful!  She did not.  

The horse was so sweet and good, I've wondered if he had been in on a trial run when nobody was home. I suspect that was the case.  The horse was way too calm about the whole thing. 

Dad and I were wild about horses; mother hated them.

Always enjoy your comments about your home.  I've been fortunate to spend a good bit of time there, including 3 narrow boat trips; good to hear thoughts from a native.

@Kachina624  Yes, I have seen it but I cannot watch as a I get too homesick silly but true always end up in tears lol.
