I've never seen planters like that.  Love the look!

I have some ferns just like that on each side of my garage door and a couple at the bottom of the steps off the back deck.

It's very welcoming.  Those door side light windows & above are very pretty.

But, for it to me mine, I'd change out those planters on the steps & use lighter colors for the door & floors.

Very stately!  I do like that those carved urns resemble pineapples, the symbol of hospitality.  Love the lush ferns too-- for some reason they have a Southern, nostalgic feeling to me...
