Re: A FEW THANKSGIVING TABLES DECKED FOR THE HOLIDAY

The tables are lovely, and thank you for sharing @Oznell

but they are all just overdone for my taste.  Tables look crowded.

I guess I'm just a simple girl with simple taste.Woman LOL

My favorite is the wood table with the white plates and linens.

@Oznell  - OT, but wanted to tell you that yesterday during free shipping

I purchased two more of those bird planters for gifts.  I can't believe these

haven't sold out at $10.  One I will give to my mail lady (she's a sweetie)

and the other is going to....yet to be determined.  Smiley Happy   I already own both

colors otherwise it would be from me to me.

@Oznell  Thank you for the wonderful table settings. We have a small house and a big family so we go casual with regular plates.I would love to go formal. If I could use one of Queen Elizabeths castles that would work for me LOL

How nice that you're giving those bird planters, @yellowrose --  lucky recipients!  Agreed, it's hard to believe there are any left, at those prices.  I've enjoyed mine so much....

Re: A FEW THANKSGIVING TABLES DECKED FOR THE HOLIDAY

Your point is well taken, @hellie jo.  We don't have "autumn themed" dishes either.  I'd never have the room for all the seasonal stuff that catches my eye!  I try to "suggest" fall on my table through just a few accessories...

I like the 3rd picture except for the centerpieces.  I would like to see a more "Fall/Thanksgiving" look instead but I like the china and the off white pumpkins or whatever they are.

@Oznell  I would choose sitting at the Spode 'woodland' table...being a birder, I love all the bird images...like the Pheasant, Wood Duck, etc  Smiley Happy
