Oh, that must have hurt to fork that over, @queendiva ,  but I would have done exactly the same.  You're so right, little details like lamp shades, hardware, small architectural touches-- they can have such an impact in creating a "mood" in a room!

My mother always had lovely lampshades on the lamps in each room.  There was a variety to choose from but you had to know the measurements or the shade wouldn't enhance the lamp.  My favorite design is the the bell shape shade.

There are stores like Walmart which carry shades.  The last time I bought lamp shades I went to a light store where they had many lovely shades to pick.   I was able to bring the lamps since they weren't too big and have them fit the shade to the lamp.
