SOLD !

Looks as a few of us might be able to go time share.

I call Aug, Sept, & Oct!

@Drythe- Okay then, I'll take April, May and June!  Smiley Happy

Robert Browning (1812 - 1889)

HOME-THOUGHTS, FROM ABROAD

Oh to be in England
Now that April's there,
And whoever wakes in England
Sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
In England - now!

And after April, when May follows,
And the whitethroat builds, and all the swallows!
Hark! where my blossomed pear-tree in the hedge
Leans to the field and scatters on the clover
Blossoms and dewdrops - at the bent spray's edge -
That's the wise thrush; he sings each song twice over,
Lest you should think he never could recapture
The first fine careless rapture!
And though the fields look rough with hoary dew,
All will be gay when noontide wakes anew
The buttercups, the little children's dower
- Far brighter than this gaudy melon-flower

It's a cute cottage on the outside but as others have said, I'd have to remodel the interior.

Looking at this oversized library I wonder what he will do if/when he decides to downsize and move.  DH and I recently downsized and donated a lot of both fiction and non-fiction books, including some on local history, to our public library.  We just don't have the space to store them in our new home; however, we did keep two nice bookcases.  If DH wants to read books we donated he simply has to visit the library down the road.

Someone we know has one of those doors!  SO cool!

I love the outside and the books; the beams look like there would be spiders up there.
