@lolakimono I am fascinated by the picture, can you give additional context? The dark wood floor excludes a basement. Any additional information would be appreciated.

I have a neighbor who has a large patch of cactus. I noticed yesterday that they're in full bloom with big yellow flowers. It's beautiful.

The cacti were probably placed by an expensive and knowledgeable gardner. Don't they need sun? What bothers me is the lack of a railing. Having one would negate the need for that glass.

@lolakimono This is absolutely fantastic! Thank you and I love it. I am going to spend some time this afternoon looking at every inch of the photos. I would love to spend some time there and when I hit the mega million lottery have it as a vacation home. Complete opposite of my cozy comfy style!

Thanks for posting all the photos. The house isn't my style, but I find it very interesting. As far as the cacti staircase I think it definitely fits the rest of the house. I don't mind it. Maybe it's because I have live greenery in my own home. I like indoor plants. I would put a railing on the wall though.
