Re: 1724 STUCCO AND STONE NEW JERSEY FARMHOUSE

This is very appealing inside and out. I love the old place and the exterior is a dream come true. Yes though, @Oznell , the low ceilings would be a challenge and while I love the old beams, the old ceiling boards have to be lightened up. Sorry, I believe in preservation as much as anyone, but if I'm going to live there, they get painted!

@Oznell ........That was a lovely tour through an incredible residence.  The epitome of hominess to me. Cat Happy

The side entrance gate with view to house is attractive.  Don't care for the angular layout of the furnishings in the living room - a more traditional arrangement in relation to the fireplace would be a much nicer and calmer look.  Like the mural and furniture in their dining room.

The exterior (and some of the interior) along with the Christmas greenery and decorations are beautiful.  The decor itself doesn't appeal to me.

@haddon9,  how neat that you had a similar sunroom in New Jersay too-- I love that sort of arrangement.  I think if I had one, I'd also put my tree there--  a sun porch of any kind is like a "bridge" between the outdoors and indoors.

Beautiful china, @Foxxee !

Re: 1724 STUCCO AND STONE NEW JERSEY FARMHOUSE

Beautiful home. The outside is glorious. I love how the Christmas tree has been decorated.

Those low ceilings might feel a bit cramped to me...particilarly the dining room. I live in a very old home and thankfully over the course of time the ceiling heights were raised in most of the rooms. The house come from my husband's family and my husband is about 6'5"... his father and grandfather were both over 6 foot...thus the renovations.

Thanks for sharing this fabulous old home.
