How ironic.  Designers introduced those styles to begin with.

@lolakimono, I was never a fan of kitchens open to everything except at the cottage.  Don't want my dirty dishes and pots and pans on display to living room, etc.  LM

Not a fan of open doors that lead outside in no kitchen.  Can you imagine the flies & other flying insects inside that kitchen as well as the rest of the house??????

I agree with most of the items the designers selected.

My gosh, they read my mind... I'm not down with all of them, but most of them grate on my nerves too... I'm defintely down with making mid-century anything a thing of the past (again)... I didn't like it then and I don't like it now...

For me, it would be chevron.  I've never like the pattern.  It reminds me of tire tracks or Charlie Brown's shirt.

So don't use them - just because YOU don't like them doesn't mean other folks don't like them.Just because something is trendy doesn't mean you are required to use it.

Wow.   This is over the top even for you.

She was giving her own opinion.  She never said everyone else had to feel the same way.

@Lipstickdiva This board is all about opinions.  I don't understand why some people can't just take it for that instead of making a big deal and being rude to others.   I am glad to see some people calling others out for this.  Maybe that will help it stop.
