I've always been surprised that she has Harvest shows in late September as you usually don't receive your items until beginning of October. Many of us like to decorate well before that.  I mean, they sell Christmas items in July!

i think the past couple of years, supply was delayed, but i think it has gotten better. This timeing is good for me, if it is shipping now. I start turning over the decorations to harvest, just after labor day. I'm already seeing mums, in the greenhouses!

The problem with the later dates on these shows is that people will have already decorated.

I was at Ikea yesterday and they were trying to build displays for their Halloween decorations. People were taking the display stuff and they kept telling them to wasn't for sale. The boxes of Halloween stuff was stacked on the floor to put on the shelves and people were going through the boxes and grabbing it. They said everything would be sold out by today.

Carts were loaded with Halloween and fall decorations. I was at Home Goods and Ho by Lobby the other day and people were buying fall and Halloween.

I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked up several red candles to use in my Christmas decor. As it gets closer to Nov. I know there won't be a single red candle remaining in the big box stores.  Fall stuff was still plentiful, but staff was busy stocking Xmas items on shelves. There were still some spring/summer items on sale for 75% off, but nothing really nice.

I agree about the dates. The little bit of Fall decorating I do is done by end of August. I do Christmas decorations at beginning of November. Love Fall. I think people grab things when they see them because past couple years has been supply chain issues and many people love Halloween decorations. Doubt I’ll buy anything this weekend but will enjoy looking at what’s offered.

I am heading to my storage tomorrow to grab the boxes for my summer stuff. I am ready to switch over. I am tired of looking at summer decs. 

All I see on TikToks is fall and Halloween decorating right now. I think that is playing into giving me the itch to switch,
