speaking of going overboard for a Christmas gift

This item is from Avon's brochure for C-1.  It's a bottle of perfume for 1,000.  Would anyone here pay that much for perfume?  I think their new owners from Korea are really banking on customers who don't mind being foolish with their money.

Ugly and totally ridiculous!  I agree that since they were bought out their products have definitely increased in price.

I sell Avon and when I saw it I just shook my head like they had lost their minds.

I think Halston & Avon were owned by the same once upon a time and perhaps they are trying to upgrade the Avon line and combine the upscale of Halston with Avon in order to do so.  Avon is quite expensive but many of their products are very good.  My mother once sold Avon and I loved that Skin so Soft but as I got older, the smell triggered my asthma and I had to quit using it.

I haven't even thought about Avon in a few years.  At one time, I was a big customer and I sold it for a while when I was a sahm.  I suppose someone will pay $1000 for it.  I wouldn't call it a foolish perchase, if the person likes it and has the money to pay for it.
