I ordered this Temptations utensil holder but it's pretty small and couldn't figure out other than flowers to put in it.

I was cleaning up and "lightbulb" moment makes the perfect candleholder for Large yankee candle🙂 Worked great!!!

@homedecor1  Good idea! I love it when I find a use for something like that, other than what it's original use was intended. Did that make sense?

@homedecor1  Looks like that would help with getting a nice even wax pool faster than letting it be free standing.  I like that.  Getting that darned wax pool to form takes more time than I have to stick around.  I don't leave candles unattended and I'm usually in and out during the day.  I've swithced to the melts but I have some jar candles waiting to be burned so I'm going to keep this in mind.  Thanks!

You are very creative! Do you like Yankee candles? I’m asking because my daughter gave me one of the large jar single wick in Sicilian Lemon. I’d never had a Yankee, and wasn’t very happy with way it burned. Tall flame with too much black smoke and not much scent. Maybe because it’s candle wax? I usually buy soy blend cables with triple wicks.

I don't normally burn candles due to allergies but my favorite is McIntosh Apple and I burn only after cooking.

They do have soot (as you can see from the top).  I put the top on to put out.

When I do candles they were from Bath&Body Works using melting plate.

@CJC  If the flame was tall the wick needs to be rimmed down.

@homedecor1 - What a great idea! I'll bet it would work with some Luminara candles too. It would make a pretty holder for them!

I love the boo-fetti pattern, but they must have discontinued it as I rarely see anything in that group.

I bought the covered mini-pie plates and the ghost salt and pepper shakes a few months back, but I haven't seen them again.
