@froggy
Do you remember we talked about the Silver Kaleidoscope trees being dull when unlit?
I ordered two Silver "AS IS" and they're shiny when unlit.
If you're interested, they have all the colors "AS IS" on page 4 under Valerie's Christmas.
You have to add 1 tree at a time. They have quite a few in each of the colors. They're $23.50.

Thanks, I have seen them in "as is". I'm pretty sure that my feeling about the silver trees is just a difference in perception. I love the green ones I got and I just don't want to take another chance on maybe having to pay return shipping again. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness though.
Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel both have silver mercury glass trees. I'm going to go shopping pretty soon so I can see them in person.

That's perfectly understandable.
I love the pictures of the Silver Mercury Glass Trees from Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel.
It looks like I'll be going shopping, too. Just looked at the Mercury Glass Trees on Pottery Barn's website. They're very pretty.

I just took a look at Pottery Barn's site and some of those trees are so pretty. I have to admit -- if, and if is the key word -- VPH's trees would not be so hit or miss, hers are as nice or even nicer.
I don't see one of those trees that are on a timer and most of them you need to add your own micro-lights or suggested battery candles.
I just wish for a lot of people that VPH's trees would work better.
I would love to know how many Keleidoscope trees were sent back. There's been so many from just those who post here. Imagine how many in the entire QVC customer base!
There is one tree on the PB site that is calling my name and I am trying not to hear it!

I looked a little closer at the trees on Pottery Barn's website & I agree VHP's trees are nicer. I do wish they weren't so hit or miss.
I'm keeping my trees a little longer to see if the humming gets worse.
Pier 1 has some beautiful string lights. I bought several strings last year for Christmas & put them in some beautiful Lenox Christmas Hurricane style vases.
I'm ignoring the tree from Pottery Barn that is calling my name.
