Wow…Hobby Lobby and other stores

Either I'm "late" for Fall decor went to HL and Michaels (for baby shower favor things) they hardly had "Fall & Halloween".  Quite picked over OR perhaps limited stock.

But, for sure I saw beautiful Christmas things🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🎅🏻

I think of Hobby Lobby & Michaels as stores for crafters.  So, if you need to craft something for a holiday, you need to buy much earlier than if you're buying just to set out.  I know a lot of stuff at these stores can be used as is, but that's my thought on the subject.

Re: Wow…Hobby Lobby and other stores

Yes, my Hobby Lobby had fall things out much earlier.  But my Walmart just put their fall decorations out at the beginning of the month.  Mid-August I couldn't find what I wanted at HL, so I looked at WM and they had no fall things at all.

But nowadays you never know how much of that imported stuff you'll find at all, what with manufacturing and shipping as erratic as they are.

The manufacturing and shipping problems don't just effect imported stuff.  I bought a glass replacement for a window in May.  They couldn't commit to a delivery date because there is a glass shortage.  Apparently there was a shortage of truck drivers to transport the sand from Idaho to Seattle.    I was flabbergasted.  The mine is only a 5 hour drive away.  Who woulda thunk it?

What are baby shower favor things????

To answer your question, I think everything is stuck in transit to be honest.  I walked into a Halloween store and the shelves were empty, the store manager said he hasn't received his shipments yet.

I walked into a Kirkland for the first time, and the entire store was FALL and Halloween.  No Christmas at all, all FALL.  All kinds of pumpkins, signs, lot of candles but I did notice that all the "stock" boxes on the floor that the clerks were putting out was all marked Kirkland on the boxes so it's products specifically and labeled for them.

@Icegoddess   Both have fabulous faux florals, have bought tons and make arrangements for every season.

I am hosting "baby sprinkle" of small gathering for close family & friends.  I am doing cookie bouquet "favors" (well really table centerpieces of cookie bouquets) -- was looking for little pink pails, filler and wrappings.

This is what I'm doing:
