Just measured my tree it's 21" tall with base. (Tree is 18.5") my tree had a bulb vs star so I measured the tree w/o top bulb. I'm hoping to get a star this year (at craft store) if these are making a comeback or I'll go to Amazon.

@homedecor1 Ebay also sells extra bulbs, etc.

Okay.....on another thread about this TSV, someone mentioned "Texas Hill Country Ceramics and Gifts". So I toodled on over to their website and was blown away by the quality and beauty of their ceramic Christmas trees (each is handmade and made to order right here in Texas)! Of course they are also more expensive! LOL I'm not into white trees, but they do have one that is white, 11.5" tall, with all white lights...and it's $54.95 (none of their trees are battery operated). They also have a GORGEOUS 27" mother of pearl ceramic with all white lights.........$1,20.00! Even though it is more expensive, I think I am going to order a green tree from them. Their trees look MUCH more defined and have, for lack of a better term, better defined lines.

@Qgirl26 wrote:@lucymo, this was at midnight. She was on with David and they were talking about how if it arrives and some of the bulbs have popped off, not to worry because you could just pop them back on. So I really do hope this will work out for you. I don't want to steer anybody wrong but that is what I heard them say on the very first presentation.
@Qgirl26. I'm sure you're right as the originals could be exchanged. I appreciate you mentioning it. No problem, I'll use it anyway.

@NiteStar I went on that web site too and they are beautiful but by the time the s/h is added it's way more than I want to pay. I like the clear bulbs so I would change that out. Hope you love the one you get.

@2blonde Sorry, I meant to say bulbs. My brain is on vacation today, I think.
I think the 7" ones are adorable and for the price a pretty good deal. I like the simple design of them, never was a fan of the snowy tips on the originals.
Thanks for your post and I hope you love the little trees when you receive them.

@lucymo I bought the two 7" white for the gingerbread display, and a 14" white for a cloche in either the red room or kitchen. I have a fantastic two and a half foot green on a musical base that I bought on ebay around seven years ago, mint condition, otherwise, I would have ordered the green also.
@mousiegirl. I ordered the green 14" and am undecided about the white. I want clear bulbs in the white. I don't have a need for the small ones but have a want. lol
@lucymo I always say, need and want are two different issues, though sometimes I need what I want, lol.
@mousiegirl You and I speak the same language, I'm afraid. Want usually wins over need here.

I think they are adorable...and I am betting my granddaughter will be taking home one of each color...she is 10...
@circles I bet she will love them in her room. Which color is your favorite? I love the white but want clear bulbs.

@Winter Holiday We did the same thing. I was tempted by the small ones but am trying to move away from so many small pieces of decor. So, I'll wait for them to arrive and see what size the bulbs are and find some clear ones.

From 1975-79 I was really doing ceramics. I remember doing these large trees, some with snow. I think most of the family got rid of them.

Put together - my niece as already put her stake on it (if I die! Lol!
That looks like the one we had. I have a whole bag of crocheted doilies, a lot of them I made myself. I still like to crochet snowflakes for Christmas decorations.
