Valerie’s new glitter arch disappointed !

received it today ,  the nativity choice ,  opened and plugged it in and it was beautiful , glitter immediately started swirling around .  Then after a couple of hours I walked by and no glitter swirling at all !   I heard a low hum I guess the motor .  I turned it upside down , but nothing it's just all laying on bottom .  I guess the motor stopped working .  Put batteries hoping that would jump start, long shot I know .  Well it did nothing ,  I guess it is defective .   Very disappointed,  I've read bad reviews on her glitter scene items well I guess they are true!  Why doesn't she improve this issue I don t get it , I feel she shouldn't sell these types of items if she can't fix the issue.   The scene itself is beautiful even without the glitter,  but the glitter  makes it magical .  Not sure if keeping , I really don't want to send back . To pay  for an item that isn't working though .............

Why don't you want to send it back if it is defective? You will get all your money back because it stopped working.

Why don't you want to send it back if it is defective? You will get all your money back because it stopped working.


@elated @it's not that I won't send it back ,  it's that it's so pretty even without the glitter although the glitter really elevates it .   If there were any available I would ask for a replacement or re order and hope that would be perfect . Just need to decide .

@Kitty Galore , if you want to keep it, call CS and ask for a partial credit. 

 

Mine arrived today, and is the barn choice. So far, it is working off of batteries. It is lovely.

To me Valerie goes to far off country and orders 150 of this & 250 of that and hopes they all work like the example piece.

 

Some do and some = well. not.

She doesn't know there's a problem until you tell her.

@Kitty Galore - With the holiday returns policy, I'd suggest just holding on to it for now and watching the website like a hawk in case more inventory becomes available. It won't be fun to pay for shipping a second time, but if you can reorder the item you want, make sure it works, and then send back the defective one, you should be all set—especially if you say you like it even without the glitter swirls. Good luck with whatever you decide!

@Kitty Galore   Sorry to hear about your arch being defective. As @Tissyanne  mentioned, you could keep it and ask CS for partial credit.

 

That is what I had to do...

I did not order an arch, but I did get the 18.5" ceramic tree. I decided to keep it even though it is defective. There is suppose to be 24 tiny wire rings on the tree for the 24 tiny ornaments. Sadly, there are only 19 wire rings, so 5 ornaments I can't hang...ugh. The upside is at least the 19 rings were evenly distributed so nobody would really know anything was actually missing. The tree just has less ornaments on it. The 5 ornaments I couldn't hang on the tree I'll keep as spares in case any break.

 

We love the tree otherwise and I have it displayed on top of our fridge in the kitchen. QVC CS offered me a $40 credit for the issue and I accepted.
