Valerie’s mercury glass pedestals

I have a question for those of you who have H208606, Valerie’s set of two lit candle holder pedestals with mirror inserts in the chocolate color. Is it a true chocolate brown color or more of a antique brass metallic color? I’m a little confused as to what the actual color is supposed to be when it’s unlit. TIA to any of you who can offer some feedback.

It's not a deep rich dark chocolate. I guess metallic brass is not a bad description. It's a wimpy chocolate. LOL .I knew it was light and should have passed.  I prefer dark brown.

@GCR18, thanks so much for responding. You are right, it is a very wimpy chocolate. I wasn’t expecting them to be more of an antique brass with a coppery undertone. Rather disappointing. 😕
