@Nataliesgramma.  I don't know but I haven't watched any of her recent shows.  I'm kind of sick of looking at her stuff.  Year after year, it's pretty much the same.

Gee if you watched they have some nice hair ornaments.

Re: Valerie's last show of the year question...

I think distribution and shipping get to be problems the closer we get to mid-December and the possibilities of bad weather.

I can see why QVC and VPH really want to do big sales presentations in July, August, and September with fewer new introductions as we get closer to Thanksgiving.

I keep noticing the number of different distribuion points UPS has for the QVC products I purchase and always know the two closest to me will have much shorter delivery dates than those on the other side of the county.

@SactoSue    I think your right about distribution,  but some of her new are already listed online that could be presented instead of the same items over and over from previous shows.   I certainly hope there will be the new that I'd like to see presented on Nov. 5th.  We shall see.

Re: Valerie's last show of the year question...

Valerie has many items that are never presented live and are part of her "extended assortment." It is understandable that once stores are stocked with decor that Valerie's shows will end. She gets the benefit of starting in July when we are excited to see new decor and stores don't have it yet.

I am already planning out my vignettes and themes for this year and how I will incorporate Valerie's items. Can't wait to decorate and am interested in seeing what new items are still left to show us in November. Smiley Happy

Re: Valerie's last show of the year question...

HI @on the bay

Comparing the old outdoor lamp post lanterns to Valerie's new version is like comparing an apple to an orange. The lanterns are actually very different. The older version has stakes that stick into the ground. The pole holds the lantern but it has a small diameter.  I have the old lamp post stuck into the ground in my back yard.  It's pretty but no where near as nice as this year's lamp post. Her new lantern is more of a statement piece with a much nicer stand alone base and the pole has a thicker diameter. Reminds me of a true, old fashioned lamp post. I don't think QVC or Valerie are being deceptive because it is a new lamp post.

Re: Valerie's last show of the year question...

@Starliteshine,

Thanks for your explanation.

I did say the newer lantern had a thicker pole and base.

Anyway, I do love the older version I have so just thought I'd mention it in case someone would like one for less, which to me are not that big of a difference but maybe to some it is worth the extra stability on the ground.

I actually have mine shortened (which is done by taking out some of the links to the pole) and in a pot.
