I'm not sure they will be back. They are so beautiful and just what I've been wanting. What are the odds they will return? Does anyone have any idea? I'm not seeing any deer on eBay.

@PA Mom-mom, As Is items tend to appear and reappear on a regular basis, from now thru February of each year, due to the extended return policy on Christmas items.

Having said that, your deer are already damaged, so I don't see the harm in you attempting to repair them to your satisfaction, and then if you fail, you can still return them as damaged.  I do not see that as being dishonest at all, and you've already provided a photo here on this forum as proof of the condition they were in when you received them.  If you're in the mood to work on them, maybe you should give it a shot.  Sometimes I am and sometimes I certainly am not in that kind of mood.  LOL

@SHOPR So you are saying I can try to repair and still send them back if it doesn't work?

Re: Valerie "As Is" Deer - Bummer!

@PA Mom-mom- Tried to post and it threw me out, so will try again.

I wanted to say that you may think that the deer are pretty and just what you wanted but, if they're already damaged, I wouldn't have much hope for them lasting very long, no matter what else you do to try to repair them.

Plus, you'll always know they're not quite right.

And once you're past the 30-day return window, you're stuck with them.   Just a thought.

@Venezia That's what I've been struggling with. I have held off buyin deer for years until thes came along. I didn't see the original presentation, and then I saw these on as is. I should just resist.

@PA Mom-mom, In my way of thinking, yes, because they are already damaged.  Chances are that if you try to repair and are unsuccessful, they'll still look damaged, so there should be no issue.  I hope that makes sense.  But it's really a tough call because as @Venezia said, if they're less than perfect, you'll always know that, and it could bug you from now on.

@PA Mom-mom  Think again.  If they send out filthy shoes, they will do anything.  It happened to me and I can't believe they would accept the shoes back in that condition but to turn around and sell them AS IS, is disgusting.

@PA Mom-mom I agree with @SHOPR that if you really love the deer, then give repair a shot.  Have your repaired other resin items to your satisfaction?

Re: Valerie "As Is" Deer - Bummer!

Thanks everyone, for the helpful advice! I think they are going back. If another set turns up, it was meant to be. My DH is very good at repairs, but he was doubtful that he could make them undetectable.

I saw a set on ASIS yesterday in the champagne. That's what I bought and they are lovely!  I would send the ones you already have bad to QVC and order the champagne ones. There were two other sets of deer on there also.  Maybe you will like those as well. Good luck!

@odie96 Did you really see H218112? I've been watching ever since I decided to send them back and have not seen them. Maybe it's possible they got snapped up that quickly.
