I just sat down and it's the first time I've watched the Q in a month.
I'm looking at these prices. I have a son who works PT for the Marshalls, Home Goods, T J Maxx group and honestly their home holiday decor is so reasonably priced.
Valerie's Santa Candlesticks 45.00 ?
Ouch.

I have to agree! I love shopping at TJ/Marshalls!

I can find so many great bargains there, instead of paying ridiculous prices for Val's 'cheap ****** from China' with a handful of glitter thrown in!

I even buy my Luminara candles there for a fraction of the cost at many other places.

I like to watch Valerie's shows for decorating ideas, but rarely, if ever, buy online.  I have picked up a few of her glass pieces, Christmas ribbon, holiday picks, etc at the QVC Outlet at a fraction of the on-air prices.  I live about a 90 minute drive from the outlet, so I don't get there more than twice a year.

Most of my home decor shopping is from places like Home Goods, Marshalls and Hobby Lobby.  They have beautiful things and the prices are reasonable.

I've cut down on holiday decor but if I do buy something it's usually from a store like Hobby Lobby.  Much better prices.

Initially I had her crystal garland and glitter picks (silver and gold 2 sets each) in my cart as one of our trees is done in all crystal with silver and gold accents (collected Waterford ornaments and silver bells since I was a child). When I saw the shipping was going to be OVER $40...I simply hit delete. Not paying that price for items that are $5 to $8 off their normal price. There is NO deal and they are NOT that unique.

Worked well for me!  I purchased three items Saturday.  Tried to buy a fourth today but it sold out as I was dialing.  I enjoy all the products I've bought from her over a great many years.

I have purchased a vast array of Valerie seasonal merchandise over the years, but admittedly, there has been a few mishaps.😐 Overall, I am satisfied with the quality and price-particularly the end of season clearance pricing.😁

Valerie,

Stick with home decor.  We don't need your jewelry now.

It is not new that Valerie offers faith based jewelry.

I ended up having a busy weekend so the pieces I was interested in sold out before I could watch the recorded presentations. I guess I am not the only one who was intrigued by what was offered. Smiley Happy

Just about everything offered on QVC is higher priced because they fold in margin for returns/damage as well as EZ Pay defaults.  However QVC does come up with some unique items that are not easily found elsewhere.  And they used to offer "exclusive" features/packages for name brands like KitchenAid, Vitamix, Shark/Euro/Ninja, etc.  For instance I was looking for a dicing feature on a food processor and could only find it on a KitchenAid processor on QVC.  I've completely updated my storage room with LocknLock.  I do buy LocknLock on Amazon but QVC does offer good prices on the larger storage LocknLock.  And I've been a long time customer of Bethlehem Lights trees and outdoro lighting.  I have garlands that are 10+ yrs that still work fine.  Amazon does offer huge selection of Holiday decor.  Problem is so many are either cheap knock offs or cheap imports.  So I usually shop multiple sources for best price and best quality...

I did buy several items from Valerie this weekend - the 30% coupon was an encouragement.
