Re: Valerie Parr Hill's sneak peek for 10/24 & 10/25

She does have some wonderful things. Just visited Hobby Lobby and gosh so many things (gingerbread, snowman and santa sections) so I will pass on VPH.

I'm getting away from classic Christmas colors and using more pastels this year. That little pastel gumdrop tree is so darn cute. It went in my cart before I knew what happened!

Glad to see they are still bringing so many new items this late in their season, but I'm not buying at this time. Too much already. As always, will love to watch though.

The Frosted Pine and Ornament Collection is really beautiful in person. Have received the Picks and the wreaths and the garland. This collection is great quality and everything is very secure. Nothing loose or falling off.

@sue311  I think for me is that the past several years I have acquired many wonderful Valerie Parr Hill pieces and I compare all of her new pieces to what I already have.

The only 'new' holiday decor I ordered this year was the bronze Holy Family with cathedral mirrors (H220112).

The few other pieces I bought this year were more of the same of what DH & I loved...ie., more of the 3' glistening trees (H215906) and the set of 3 glistening acrylic trees w/silver base in clear (H221223).

And of all the Fall decor she had, I only bought the set of 4 votives in teal (H219731).

I am ordering the white bird set; I ordered the brown bird set earlier in the year.  I am going to make one more pass through .com, then that will be it for this year.

Re: Valerie Parr Hill's sneak peek for 10/24 & 10/25

I'm excited to see the red-and-white pip berry collection presented—the pieces look classic and beautiful in all the photos, and I already love the autumnal version. And I'm hoping the thin mercury glass pedestals/candle holders will be as lovely when they are presented as well. But I think I'm most interested in the mini poinsettia plants with card holders; I'm never able to find a spot for full-size poinsettias, and these seem like they'll be really versatile for decorating (or gifting). Looking forward to the final Valerie shows!

Thanks for the link, it is always appreciated.  I saw a couple of lovely items, but  I would have to donate some things to make room.  So I think I will just be a watcher.
