I watched part and DVR'd the whole show to relax and watch "later" - LOL! Now if I can get the TV! 

I did order the darker blue melamine dishes. I have a set I've had for over 20 years. I love it but it's service for 4. It's white, with a red, white, and blue border. I thought this color would mix in with that.

 I also ordered a wreath- can't resist it!

        I watched and enjoyed; bought the Americana picks!!  Her shows are the only shows that I make an apt with myself to watch!!

        I find the shows interesting, educational and easy to watch. Some hosts work better with her than others, but Valerie's calm demeanor makes the show for me!

Unfortunately I went Coastal Crazy!  I'm a bit happy that these all are in advanced shipping.  Gives me time to reconsider...maybe, lol!

I bought the sea glass candle rings H225735. I find it easier to change candle rings than other decor.

"Christmas in July" is alarming to hear, but it's still three months away so that's alright.

Rick must not have been available to host with Valerie, but MBR did her usual nice job.

I was just thinking this morning that we are half-way there for Christmas in July.......

@corita - love your picks! My whole family room is patriotic. It started when DH's dad gave us the flag from his late brother's memorial service. He was a pilot during WWII whose plane was shot down in the Pacific. They found the other 3 bodies, but never found his. Then my FIL gave us his dad's bugle from WWI. (DH was his only son and is named after his uncle). After that someone gave us a unique flag made out of wood. And so it began, I use Valerie's stars and picks during the summer, but I decorate our fireplace mantle seasonally, so I do put them away!

@BornToShop - I love your choices too. I'm thinking about the seashells. If I get another lantern DH will NOT be happy!

@traveler - I'm going to look those up. Valerie's on again at 6 with Jayne. They might show them then!
