@BornToShop, I think the fish and turtle are adorable, and no batteries required is a good argument.

The only voice of reason I can offer you is that I have poor luck with resin items outdoors.  Anything resin I've ever used outdoors fades after a year.  That's my only caution.

@SHOPR, I am still on the fence; were yours in direct sunlight at any time?  I have a huge patio door; I am thinking I would place them on the outside of that protected part.  I keep getting my tape measure out, lol.

@BornToShop, Yes, the resin items I've had experience with were in at least half a day of direct sun, but if your setup is in less to no sun, then you may not have the fading issue.

Re: VALERIE AND JILL'S SHOWS 4/6/17

It's been a nice programming day on QVC in my opinion.

Too bad Valerie and Jill won't have any more decorating shows until CIJ, which means it will be a long wait of 3 months or more.  This forum may stall altogether.  It's already slow this time of year.  :-(

It wouldn't be so slow if QVC would let us post items from competitors.  I understand why they don't, but the limitation can be a disincentive to posters.

Re: VALERIE AND JILL'S SHOWS 4/6/17

@Marsha2003, On that subject, I've noticed lately that mentioning a competitor and posting a photo or item name and number from their website seems to be allowed, as long as there is no link, specific address, or embedded link within the photo.

In general, though, I can understand people getting poofed over and over and just giving up and going elsewhere.  Wonder if there is a good site for CIJ peeks?

@Marsha2003, I fear my ipad item discoveries are history, but if anyone knows of an alternative, I'm all ears.

@SHOPR @Marsha2003

I can see their point if QVC sells a similar item, but in one thread we were talking about magazines and someone had never seen the magazine Romantic Home that someone had mentioned......so I made the mistake of posting the Barnes & Nobles newstand link that showed and gave details about the magazine and the Mods took out the link.....QVC doesnt sell magazines ....but maybe they were afraid someone would explore cookbooks and find ones that Q sells, but isnt QVC supposed to have a spectacular price (sarcasm) so whats the big deal---LOL!!!  Sometimes I dont understand what they allow and what they don't I can understand sales links or coupons from other sites that are in competition with QVC ...but products QVC doesnt even sell........

@Spurt, I think that's the big turn-off for lots of people--not understanding exactly what is or isn't allowed and not seeing the logic behind certain deletions.  I have completely stopped posting links to anywhere other than qvc items or qvc videos on youtube.

Re: VALERIE AND JILL'S SHOWS 4/6/17

I watched Valerie's shows and also Jill's show on her Birthday today. I did not buy anything. Pedestals, spheres and even the Bethlehem lights hanging flowers TSV did not interest me. The sugared bunnies were cute but I saw something similar at half the price at a shop near my house. Did not like Jill's resin fish,turtle or bunny. When she said it was a Jill original and that she designed them and same about the half done poorly done new wreath she designed, I almost changed the channel. She was telling them to bring up the lights so she can see her creations. She seemed in a good mood because she is 49 today and wants to be in the Galápagos Islands next year at 50 and shoot her show from there. I hope she was kidding. She was kidding about starting a Go Fund Me page for the budget though.
