How many do you all get? Anyone remember the Raymond Halloween episode? (Hubbs asks that question).

My HOA doesn't allow them.    Private home parties ONLY, by invitation.

I live on a popular street and we get a couple of hundred little trick or treaters. I love Halloween and I pick up candy each time I go to the store so I have plenty.

There doesn't seem to be all that many kids in our area anymore. I stopped giving out candy probably 10 years ago. I would buy it and only get maybe 10-20 and we'd be stuck with all this candy. I would end up taking it to our work for the moochers there. So now I don't even bother. There are many activities in the area for the kids so many parents just take them there I guess.

I live in an HOA but there is no provision not allowing Trick or Treaters.  My neighborhood is not an over 50 community but it is a small neighborhood with almost no children. I would love to see Trick or Treaters but we have none.  The neighborhood that I moved from had lots of little Trick or Treaters and a few older kids. It was a fun time. No one missbehaved and they almost all said thank you.

When I was a kid and my children were young Halloween was the best night of the year. It's a shame today's kids are missing out on this fun. And no getting candy out of a trunk in a parking lot is not the same.

We get between 70 and 90 each year. I love Halloween and give out full sized candy bars. Our community is surrounded by apartment buildings that don't allow trick or treating, so some of their residents come to us. I love it!

@Group 5 minus 1 We don't get many in my development, but my brother and sister-in-law live two streets over from me and got 1100 kids last year!!!

Yep, you read it right...1100!Smiley LOL

The first year they moved in they weren't expecting that many trick-or-treaters.

They were running out of candy and my sister-in-law had to calll my niece and nephew to come home with their candy so they could re-distribute to the masses!!!

Now she starts stockpiling candy in September for the big night!

I plan for 175. Sometimes I have leftovers. Sometimes I run out.
