I wish! My husband wants to keep the tree up until New Year's Eve. I'm ready to take it down now.... but I'll wait.

Yep! - Everything comes down and gets stored away until next year on the day after Christmas - When it's over, it's over, in my book.

Well, I have decided that my decorations stay up until I run out of sugar-free Peppermint Mocha Coffee-Mate, LOL. During yesterday's grocery run, DH found a whole bunch of it at Safeway, so we bought as much as our fridge could hold, and voila, I'm still in business. Our exterior lights, with the color prism additions, let me change from red/white/green Christmas lights to teal Winter lights, in combo with cool white icicle lights on the deck railing that faces the road, and a flocked stake tree and a homemade wreath on the front door that features white and teal silk poinsettia blossoms and silver glitter "berries", and teal fairy lights wrapped around it. Very "Frozen", but it lets me keep celebrating the winter up until Mud Season hits in the spring. <sigh>

I usually take it down by now (usually by the 27th), but I'm keeping it up until tomorrow (Monday). My girls are having friends over today and I figured I'd keep everything up so it still looks festive.

DH and I took down the outside lights yesterday because the weather was pretty warm. He said we should do it because its due to get very cold again soon and why wait until then. Normally, we wait until after NY to do that. I will not take down all my inside decorations until well after NY. I just can't do it --- it's too depressing!

I go by rooms and I've worked through my kitchen, dining room, my room and guest room, today is the family room and bathroom and Monday is the living room. I get exhausted trying to do my whole house in one day. I take down and deep clean the snow and glitter and rest.

I will take them down after New Years, probably over the weekend. I do leave up the my snowmen and snowflake candles for a few more months. I have Valerie Parr Hill's lighted white birch tree that I will also leave up through the winter.

Dismantled everything today. Need to get the boxes back down and put away. The other items like candles, small decor, etc. all put away today. Hate it because now the house looks dark and neighborhood looks dark
