Todays's Christmas in July Prices are Absurd!

I have watched many years of Q holiday shows and have never seen the greed and overpricing I have today.  Valerie's products have gone from the $25-$40 range to $50-$60+ price range. The Q has forgotten the Value part of their name. Hobby Lobby and Kirklands here I come!

I guess all good things really do come to an end....

@texas_lexuss    At least at a b&M store you can pick out one where the paint isn't smeared.

High prices and low quality.

You're in luck! I was at Hobby Lobby earlier this week and the Christmas stuff is starting to hit the shelves! And yes their prices are so much better and the selection is huge.

I personally can't watch Valerie - her semi whisper and demeanor reminds me of someone medicated

Nobody forces you to watch or buy.

Obviously many folks believe the prices are fair and they like the products, since popular items like the TSV are selling tens of thousands.

I bought mine (the sweet little gingerbread)!

I have no time nor desire to shop and to create something from Hobby Lobby, and my calculated hourly rate is much, much higher than the poor workers in China.

Everything goes up in price over time--houses, cars, gold, meat, etc. are skyrocketing right now.  Paying under $40.00 will always be a pretty good bargain in my opinion.

I agree that the prices seem too high this June. I will say this keeps me from ordering anything at this time. Add in the shipping costs, and it just isn't where I need to be spending my money at this particular time.

There are a few items in the last few hours that have caught my attention, but I am scaling down my purchases everywhere, not just QVC.

I really was tempted to buy two of the 25" TS lanterns, but I will do just fine without them this coming year.

I bought a couple of things.....just making an observation!

Her prices are far out of line!  Just because there have been losses due to the pandemic, doesnt mean the shortages have to be made up in one weekend!

I purchased the TSV today - Santa on the beach.  My friend collects Santa decorations and also she loves to vacation on the beach.  I thought this would be perfect for her.  I'll put it in a bag, add some type of candy and I'm done - 1 person off my list.

I caught a bit of the VPH show yesterday and wow were the prices awful!  $200.00 for a standing snowman that I could have created with stuff from the local craft store.  It looked very cheaply made.  I have some beautiful QVC Xmas decorations from many years past that are such great quality they still looke brand new. I know they will last because back then things were made with quality and were priced decent, but no more.
