We will be celebrating Christmas Eve with our daughter, her husband, and father-in-law.  They love entertaining and always create happy memories.

Christmas Day we all will get together at our son and daughter-in-law’s, including our dear two grandchildren.  The days of toys are long gone, and we gift the kids with a few token gifts and money to spend.  That makes them happy.

We have so many memories of Christmas Eve dinners at our home through the years.  And memories of my extended family coming over Christmas Day to celebrate.  We wanted our children to celebrate in our home and enjoy their gifts in their home.

It is important for us to remember those left fortunate around the holidays.  We do decorate our home and keep those decorations up long into our New England winter, so it is possible for everyone to come over to enjoy the old homestead.

The gift giving will remain the same for us but the decorating will be really cut down.
