Target Fall Decor - Glass Pumpkins are back

I'm going to make a quick run to Target. Read a number of social comments excited about the return of decorative glass and ceramic pumpkins to Target. Supposedly, these flew off the shelves last year

Re: Target Fall Decor - Glass Pumpkins are back

I was in Target the other day and didn't even think to look at fall and Halloween! I guess I was just trying to find some clog shoes with a slight heel! Nowhere to be found.

Anyway, I just looked at Target online and they have so many cute and nice fall and Halloween things! Maybe it's good I didn't think about it because I can't fit anymore in my fall and Halloween crates!

It was disappointing in Homegoods-everything looked so garish and tacky-bright shiny gold and black huge witches, bright pink dishes-I don't know.  Idk!  Usually it's hard to get out of there without something! Maybe I just love all I already have and all that I really need. But they no longer had the beautiful procelain cups from England or a large ktichen selection.

Clothes at Marshalls and Target looked like they were geared to youth grunj or something Idk.

I'm glad I went but glad to be home and I won't go as often at all.

There's no place like home!

@on the bay  - I like Target and I think the Threshold brand is good quality. Yes, there is a lot of Fall merch online at Target. My store has the Threshold pumpkins so I'm going to check it out in person. I like some of the Target leisure apparel and sometimes the shoes. I also shop beauty when they have regular offers of $5 coupons for specific purchase events.

Me too @on the bay.  I have found over the years that I used to love going out and buying things for different occasions.  But I love what I already have and don't really want anything else.   I don't put up a Halloween display, just some fall flowers, candles and small pumpkins.

You know what was really enjoyable- Barnes and Noble!

I hadn't gone in so long but I was going to look for aome books. Strange they didn't even have any Lillian Jackson Braun-"The Cat Who..." books and only 1 Martha Grimes and $16 at that for a paperback!Woman Surprised

But looking in the window, while waiting for it to open along with 3 people asking for handouts-very unusual! They then roamed the parking lot with keys to their car in their hand!

Anyway, I found the best thing for each grandchild that I had to get!Woman Very Happy The cutest Halloween book with sounds for the youngest, a sweet TY halloween bat for the princess, and an amethyst rock that I just thought of my oldest right away.

I saw that rock the night before and thought no, how many things do they need but kept thinking about it and though I should have gotten it, so I did!

One thing one of my grandmothers said was if you see something you really like, get it. Well, some can do that but also when something really calls to you, that's when it makes sense.

And after that all that, I very large nap lol!

@on the bay All that shopping while fun can be exhausting!  LOL!  I can easily take a nap after a full day!

Re: Target Fall Decor - Glass Pumpkins are back

We spent the summer in NYC and did a lot of our shopping at Target.  Will continue to do so when we get home.

Re Barnes and Noble--They used to have shelves and shelves of "bargain books."  Didn't see any in the one I went into here in Manhattan and even the magazines were expensive--$10 and up.  Back to the library!
