@Regal Bee

Your fall decor is beautiful!  This is my last year's fall decor, I may keep it simple and do mostly the same this year.  Love fall decor.

@rockygems123   Just so elegant! Love it.

I was thinking along those lines also...I may do some of the same things this year. It will keep me out of the stores! Smiley Very Happy

Autumn decor isn't my favorite because the colors don't really go in my house plus the weather stays hot here well into October.  I had a whole blue, grey and ivory scheme for my former home, but this house has a completely different color scheme.

I bought some very dark green pumpkins from Amz, but other than displaying those and changing out the sofa pillows, I don't think I will be doing much.  Oh, I have two wooden pumpkins that I will probably add somewhere, too.

I'm really ready to change decor now, but I know if I do, I'll get tired of it too soon, so I'll probably wait until September 1.

Thank you!

My thoughts exactly.  TJMAXX very early in the Halloween season last year had a lot of really great Martha Stewart items very reasonably priced.

I'll try to stay away this year too lol as there is plenty of decor here Smiley Happy

Re: Starting to Think About Fall Decor

While Autumn is my favorite time of year as a Desert dweller it will be scorching temperate here until sometime in October. I used to decorate for the season in September or October, however, because we now celebrate our Christmas celebration with the children and grands the day after Thanksgiving, I now just decorate for Christmas at the end of October or first of November.

Thank you so very much for all of the beautiful Harvest/Autumn photos! I enjoy seeing them and enjoying them vicariously...🍁🍂

That's a beautiful arrangement!  Your place is gorgeous as well!😃❤️

I don't do a whole lot for fall anymore.  I change out my pillows on the couches and add a few new throws.  I do have an arrangement I've had a few years I usually switch to on my dining room table.  Usually some fall scented candles too lol.

@cheriere.  I stick a wreath on the front door and call it done.  Nobody here to see it but me.  I used to love decorating but it's just too much trouble now.

Re: Starting to Think About Fall Decor

Like many of you I will start late August.  I do my windows then and a good fall cleaning.

I like to change over to fall during that time as I love a clean house to go along with the change of seasons.  It's the best time of year!

Re: Starting to Think About Fall Decor

@Regal Bee , I honestly have been thinking of and looking forward to the fall since May! LOL.  Woman Very Happy   In New Jersey, we seem to not get as much 'fall' weather as we do extremely hot or cold.   I adore the fall.   Woman Very Happy
