Starry night hurricane battery box issues

I know Valerie mentioned with this latest shipment that this issue had been addressed. I received my first set 3 weeks ago, have been using them for about two weeks and the one battery box already completely died. I don't use Facebook to get in touch with her there – does anyone know the best way to reach her and/or get it replaced?

I know I can buy separate strands on my own, but I shouldn't have to do that when these are brand new.

No you shouldn't have to.  If they don't function properly return them.

I don't really want to box up and return this whole set if it's just one battery box that died. I remember last year people reached out to her on Facebook but I don't use that. Is there an alternative way to get in touch with her?

CS gave me an email address to reach out to her company so I'm gonna try that.

Re: Starry night hurricane battery box issues

So the email address they gave me does not work and now I'm irritated.
I called back and The only option they gave me is to return the entire set and they will replace it. They said they have no way for me to contact Valeries company.

I always liked Valerie as a vendor, but if this is true I'm really disappointed. Does anyone have any experience in this regard with handling this issue outside of Facebook?

TIA

Re: Starry night hurricane battery box issues

@Cathyshopper - When these came out last year I ordered three colors. One box didn't work. I had to decide whether to send the entire set back - and not get a replacement since they were sold out - or just use one hurricane without the box.

Since I got three colors, there is usually one color I'm not using in my "rotation" at any time. So it's been OK for me.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do!

@Cathyshopper - After looking this up I think Valerie operates mostly through Facebook and other social media sites.

However, someone posted a few years ago that she left a comment under the Q and A part under the item's page and someone from Valerie's team responded.

Maybe you could try that?

Thanks for that suggestion. I will think about it. These are so hard to get that I really don't want to return the set. I will see if the other boxes continue to work and I caved and ordered some Bethlehem lights fairy lights to have on hand.

@Cathyshopper - I think you made the right decision by keeping them, because they are so limited. The set I have that had the defective box was otherwise perfect. When I inspected them carefully I saw no other defects.
