I hope they have a full presentation, too.
If you click here you may be able to zoom in. It works for me. My only concern is that the lighter colored leaves, when zoomed in, look like pieces of printed fabric with the wrong side facing up. See what you think.
I like the mixture of textures and colors.

I've stated on here that I'm not much a fan of plastic leaves and such in candle rings. Well, I found a couple of pair that are so pretty. The plastic is very matte finished, the colors are very muted greens (washed out might be another way to describe them) and just slight browns, golds and oranges on the edges. They appear to mix the leaves of a number of different plants and some berries as well.
The attractive part was how muted and soft the colors are, like plants when they begin the change process in the fall, no longer vibrant and green, not yet bursting with fall beauty.
They coordinate with the newest Mirage 'honey' colored candles I just picked up this week on Q. On top of the TSV brown pedestals from the 1st. and I cannot believe the look. Three separate purchases from three different brands that look like something that was all designed to be sold in a coordinating set. I so wish I could post pictures, but I have tried to put my sd card in my computer and it simply won't read the card anymore ( and I don't have a phone to take pics).
I don't do summer specific decor (except for a few patriotic things) but have noticed that there are now garlands, rings, wreaths that seem to say 'late summer/early fall' to me. I've just noticed this color combo in the last year or two, as in the past it seems we went from vivid green right to the true fall colors in most of these items.
Best part is these rings were between $5 and $6.50 each.
Went to Hobby Lobby a couple of days ago looking specifically for some kind of different fall candle rings, and their choices were incredibly tacky looking and much more expensive.
So for those looking, the small local shops have their fall out now, and it is getting picked over pretty fast. Between my mom and I, we bought out a lot of their current stock in several styles of candle rings.
So here's hoping I've satisfied my urge for fall candle rings, and whatever Valerie brings will hold no interest for me! (anyone wanting to place bets on this?)LOL (go ahead Lucy, hit me with your best shot!LOL)
@Mominohio Ba-ha-ba-ha-ha-ha. Oh, hi, Mominohio. See you on August 3. I believe the only way you won't find something to buy during the Harvest show is if I come up there and we go hiking in the woods while the show is on. Of course that's just my opinion now but I am familiar with your past shopping history.
Those candle rings that you bought locally sound much nicer and more affordable than anything that we see on the Q. We have a few small shops here in town and I'll go check them out soon. One of them sells for local craftsman and has custom made furniture, seasonal wreaths and centerpieces, and they make painted signs with whatever saying that want on it, for wall or tabletop. I've bought a few things there.
We have a lot of Mennonites here but only one store and they don't seem to have as much decor as the Amish ones I saw in the NJ-PA area when I lived there. They have someone to do every trade there is though. They put a roof on a rental for us in record time and did a great job.

I have a question for you. In the local store, did you happen to see the green eucalyptus candle rings? I know that you bought the rust version, but I've found both a muted green and a rust color, at Christmas Tree Hill, and I'm thinking of ordering both.
From the pics, I would guess that the quality (as in not glossy or super fake looking) of both choices will be the same, but it would help me a lot to have your opinion, if you have seen the green.
Thanks.
Below is the English Boxwood. I'd like to try it, too, but I'd have to order from a different site and pay shipping all over again.
Did you see it locally?

@SHOPR If this is the case, I have a funny story for you. I bought quite a few of Valeries red picks H206308, and when I began putting them on the tree, I noticed that the middle leaf had no glitter. This bothered and puzzled me, and it was a while before I realized the reasoning behind it. The "burst" was supposed to lay on the leaf thus covering it so why glitter it?
I disagree, and it wasn't mentioned in the presentation, of course, as I think the middle leaf should have been glittered. Sooo, this may be the reason some of the leaves are backward in the rings, something else is supposed to cover them.

@mousiegirl, How odd!
Can you see the leaves I mentioned, and zoom in on them? Just wondering. They may not be backward at all, but just strange looking, at least to me. :-)

@SHOPR Are you talking about the light colored leaves? They look a bit backward, but suppose they would have to be viewed in person.

@mousiegirl, Yes, the light ones. Maybe they are backward, then, but something odd about them for sure. Hoping it isn't as obvious in person.

I have often found that when displaying wreaths and rings and garlands, people in the stores don't pay attention to the leaves, and often leave them turned wrong side up instead of turning them over. Perhaps that is what happened with this picture. Maybe they just were in a hurry to photograph and somone didn't even know to adjust them?

What do you think of these?
They're by VPH, coming soon, I think.
Those look pretty nice @SHOPR
I hope they bring in enough to actually have a presentation so we can see them up close.
@SHOPR Those are very nice! I just rarely use candle rings. I got 4 from the Finley set at Grandin Road last year when I got the wreath from the same set and just don't need anymore.
@Mominohio You use a lot of candle rings. How many pillars do you use when decorating for Fall/Holidays? I ask beecause we don't even have a diningroom table in our small home. I also don't use candle rings when I use any of VPH pedestals...so that might be another reason why I don't use as many candle rings as other folks do...just guessing.
I hope they will have a presentation for everyone
