@froggy Yes, I noticed VPH had it on her table and I remember when it was posted on the forum a couple of years ago. It is a lovely set to look at, however unless one is lucky, the quality was so poor. I guess if one buys a few sets and cherry picks a set for themselves, they might get a fairly decent grouping.
I got a set from Overstock dot com 2 yrs ago and I was highly disappointed. I called CS at the time and told them of the issue and they let me keep the set rather than sending it back and gave me a full refund. I wound up keeping 2 bowls, 1 mug and 2 salad plates and 2 dinner plates. The rest went to the trash. I wouldn't even give the rest to charity.
The painting/transfer was poor and the underside wasn't finished. Additionally, when the pieces got wet, the ceramicware/clay would show wet areas on the topside of the plates/bowls/etc...so even the glazing was shoddy!
Just a HU for those who really like the set

I do remember there were some problems. Maybe because it was Overstock? Do they sell seconds? Too bad, because it is very pretty.

@froggy DH and I have bought many things from Overstock over the past several years...even furniture pieces and this dinnerware set was the only disappointment.

Yes, I have purchased from them also and never had a problem. At least you didn't have to pack them up and send them back.

@froggy, I saw it again on Valerie's set during this CIJ. I still admire it, even though I got a really bad set from Overstock, same as @Susan Louise. I think it's such a pretty design, and I displayed a few pieces, and there's one mug that is in good shape, so I'm actually using it for my coffee lately, because of CIJ (silly, I know, but I am).
I hope the paint and finishing on the ones from Zulily and elsewhere are of better quality. Aside from those issues, though, it weighs nothing and feels sort of like chalk in the hand, so I would question its durability just because of the way it's made. Too bad, because I love the pattern. :-(

Too bad this appears to be less than good quality, because the style and design are a really nice mix of casual and elegance.
I especially like it because it doesn't scream Christmas, but to me would be appropriate for the entire winter season.
