@Buck-i-Nana I do the same thing. Last night I was consdering the multi colored ornament wreath on Valerie's 9 PM show but couldn't figure out where I was gonna use it and it sold out so fast. Figured it wasn't meant to come to my house either
@MTH I still use an ornament wreath in Burgundy/Gold from David Shindler when he was at QVC. I also have the 10" ones in B/G and the multi that I use as candle rings. Mine are made using one of those wire wreath forms and shatterproof ornaments. The ornaments are fastened to the wire form by opening the hanger on the ornament and looping it over the wire and then closing it back. When Walmart gets their ornaments in I plan to buy some silver and gold ornaments in different sizes and making a wreath. I have made pinecone wreathes and the hardest part is getting the right sizes to fill space without leaving obvious spaces between the objects.
I didn't buy anything from Jill or Valerie last night. I'm getting better at looking but not buying. If you decide to try to make an ornament wreath I will post a picture of front and back of mine for you.
@lucymo Thanks Lucy. I have one spot I was thinking of using it in, but then I keep thinking of all the items I already have that I could also use in that same spot so I'm just not sure what I want to do yet. guess its a bit early for me to figure out where everything is gonna go so I may just sit tight for now. I do like that wreath but there goes another $40 by the time I add shipping and tax. Guess we are getting a bit more cautious. It does sound like I missed a lot of beautiful items when David Slatkin was around. From your explanation tho, doesn't sound too diffucult to make myself so posting any pic whenever you get a chance is great if you don't mind.
@MTH I will try to post in the next few days or maybe even tonight. I think it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what you want to use in spaces in your home. It might also discourage buying more than we need.

I was thinking about the CIJ weekend this morning. I was so looking forward to it for weeks and was so disappointed. I was trying to think what has changed over the years. Anyway I really need a new tree. I ordered the 9 ft. flocked one, ended up canselling it the next morning.

@ripka junkie Which color did you get? I have the large trumpeting angels Valerie had several years ago and the set of three that she had a few years ago. Unless someone cancels the angels won't be back this year, most likely. Hope you get them.

After selling out of most colors and sizes of the TSV's yesterday, all sizes in most all colors are back in stock this morning. Must have been lots of cancellations on those.

@Mominohio I cancelled four items. Once the finials arrive, if I don't love them, back they go, but I am expecting at least to love the red.
I am sure Valerie will bring much more new. Last year, some of her best items were toward the end of the Christmas shows, so decided if I could live without something now, better for me to wait it out to see what else she brings.

I actually went back and ordered something this morning. H208733. Apparently I missed the presentation on this but I really like it. I have an old BL lit garland that is very plain other than some white lights. The last few years I haven't used it thinking it was just too blah. I think this will be a nice way to spruce it up without buying a new garland. AND NO BATTERIES!! Yippee.

I ordered the brown finials and the spheres to match (along with the champagne spheres in that same line), and I'm really undecided about them. I don't do spheres at all, just find them too modern, but thought that as much as I have loved the finials, these spheres made to match them exactly might be just the finishing touch to some vignettes.
I'll be very choosy when they all get here, and may not keep any of it, but since I have been so happy with the previous finials, I had to give the brown a try.
And I hope you are right about some more new from Valerie. I was so frustrated last night, things gone before they could present them again. It makes me mad enough to just turn the show off completely. There is no excuse for a vendor like Valerie (or the buyers who decide what gets purchased and how much) to begin an event or show with 3000 of this or 1200 of that.

@MTH Go check out the ornament wreath, H208704, and you can see the metal wreath form in a lot of places. Enlarge it and it appears to me that they used small wire to attach the ornaments to the form.
This wreath is smaller than mine as it is 17" and mine is 24" so I have larger ornaments than this one does. I'll post pics. I love the gold and silver mix.

@Mominohio Very true about the quantity issue
