Shoplc has their Christmas tree up

now, in August.  I don't think it's any kind of Christmas-in-summer-month show, but can't be sure, since I don't usually watch the channel.

It just looks stupid.

And it makes QVC's and HSN's  Christmas decorating before Halloween seem almost normal.

So I guess Dec. 26 - June 30 are now the only non-Christmas months in retailing?

Thank you.  I feel my instincts not to watch are sound; this summer Christmas stuff annoys me.

@ValuSkr

Yes, mostly jewelry and other stuff, too, for instance some linens, clothing, shoes and kitchen stuff. It's all limited and a lot of off-brands. Lot's of junk there also.

@Big Joanie

My little 2 foot, already decorated tree sits in a corner in my craft room ready to move into place when the time comes.

That's the extent of my holiday decorating except for a few outside wreaths.

In past years, I had a 10 ft tree in a rotating stand that took me 3 days to decorate.  Every room in my house had some level of decoration.

We no longer entertain like we used to and I don't have the energy to do all of that set up.

My tiny tree is just enough to make me feel happy without any fuss.
