Santa's Best TSV Alberta Spruce Starry Light Christmas Tree Question

We purchased the 6.5 ft tree and really like it, but wonder if the different patterns are working correctly. Our Twinkle and Random Twinkle and even the Glissen look very simular. They all kind of "flash" on and off. It isn't a smooth transition. Is this normal? Last year the random twinkle kind of looked like a slow firefly. Thanks!

all 3 functions have a subtle difference. One has a 2 part blink one does a a quick almost on and off blink and the other is a faster almost 3 part blink.
